Forster Could Be Out For Season
Saturday, 18th Jul 2015 17:53

Reports are emerging in the media that Fraser Forster might miss the whole of 2015/16 season.

The national media is reporting that Saints goalkeeper Fraser Forster could miss th whole of the coming season due to the severity of his knee injury.

The initial prognosis was that Forster could be out for 9 to 12 months, but it now seems that it could be longer than that and like Jay Rodriguez he could miss the whole of the season.

This is a blow to Saints, but of course the seasons destiny will be decided in the first 5 months when Forster would have been missing anyway, so from this viewpoint it is a blow but not a fatal one

Of all people it had to be him. Let's hope this is just gossip. On the other hand Gazzinga looked really good against Groningen and maybe can step up to the plate. In U21 games at the tail end of last season he looked very good indeed, maybe we had a nugget here all the time?
