TVOS: Dale v Port Vale
Tuesday, 28th Feb 2017 08:00

Rochdale AFC’s matchday programme — The Voice of Spotland — is back for Tuesday’s League One fixture against Port Vale.

The programme is once again a 76-page issue containing plenty of reading to keep fans entertained and informed before, during and after the match.

We start with a lifestyle front cover image of defender Niall Canavan, who is the subject of the programme’s Q&A feature in which he reveals which GCSE subject he took a year early at school!

Scrutator relives looks at the new playing surface at the Crown Oil Arena, while Row F columnist John Rowe debates the thorny subject of referees.

In ‘Colour Confusion’, Matt Smith remembers a game in which Dale inexplicably changed their usual socks and Middle Eastern fan Dylan Peacock reports from the depths of Sri Lanka.

In ‘Through The Years’ we recall a game in which Dale picked-up a crucial away point in their battle against relegation from the Football League and ‘On This Day’ looks back at a game Dale won inside the first seven minutes!

Our regular Dale Quiz will tax your brain away from the action and Travellers’ Tales reports on the trip to Barrow.

Action photos appear from the games against Walsall, Barrow and Southend and there are comprehensive previews of forthcoming home and away fixtures.

Visitors Port Vale get nine pages of coverage, which includes five thoughts that pop into our minds whenever Dale take on The Valiants.

All this and much, much more will be in Tuesday’s The Voice of Spotland, on sale in the Club Shop and around the ground, priced £3.00.
