Hill set for new deal?
Monday, 15th May 2017 20:51 by Col

Rumours on a couple of football websites on Twitter are suggesting that Keith Hill is in line for a new long term deal at Spotland.

The stories have appeared on Teamtalk and have suggested that the new deal has arisen following interest from Wigan Athletic in Hill's services. They say that the deal is the biggest in the club's history, which will come as no surprise to anyone, and that the deal will be a long term one.

Of course, it's silly season for generic football websites at the moment, with one linking us with a £640,000 move for Charlton striker Nicky Ajose in the last couple of days, and bookies' odds don't appear to have Hill in the running for the Wigan job at all.

The story on Teamtalk goes on to link Wigan with a move for Fleetwood manager Uwe Rosler - less than three years since Wigan sacked Rosler in the first place.
