In what will undoubtedly be the toughest game in the preseason calendar, Championship favourites Middlesbrough come to the Crown Oil Arena.

It will be a first appearance in Dale colours at home for a number of players and there'll be plenty of inquisitive eyes on the trialist who came off the bench at Halifax on Tuesday. It will also be another opportunity for the other trialist Jack Redshaw to convince Keith Hill that he's worthy of a deal, fresh from his hat trick against Chorley in midweek.

Admission is £10 for adults and £5 for juniors. As has been the norm for a couple of years now, only the main stand will be open for Dale supporters, with the Willbutts accomodating the 'Boro fans.

Kick off is at 3pm.
