Refwatch: Dale v Bromley
Thursday, 2nd Nov 2017 10:00 by TVOS

Andrew Miller will make his Crown Oil Arena debut in a refereeing capacity at Saturday’s Emirates FA Cup tie against Bromley.

The County Durham man currently referees up to National League level, but is one of four officials from that league who have been appointed to games in the cup this weekend.

Mr Miller has taken charge of eight matches in the National League this term, one of which was Bromley’s 2-2 draw at AFC Fylde in September.

His most recent game was Hartlepool v Tranmere ten days ago.

Before deciding to focus solely on refereeing, Andrew spent the 2015/16 season as an assistant referee in the EFL.

He received one appointment at the Crown Oil Arena in that time for Dale’s 2-1 defeat of Port Vale at the end of November.

However, Andrew’s father, Nigel Miller, was a regular referee at Dale games during his time on the league list, most recently on Easter Monday for our 2-0 home win over Coventry.
