Refwatch: Bradford v Dale Friday, 8th Dec 2017 18:28 by TVOS Darren Bond is the man in the middle for Dale’s trip to Bradford on Saturday. The Wigan whistler is in his sixth season on the league list and is a member of the Select Group 2 referees who mainly take charge of fixtures in the Championship. Indeed, Mr Bond has taken charge of 13 games at that level this term, most recently a week ago when he oversaw Ipswich’s 4-2 home defeat of former European champions, Nottingham Forest. Dale last saw Darren in April when Callum Camps’ swerving free-kick was enough to win the Thursday night local derby at Bury. He was also the referee for the 2-2 home draw with Doncaster in April 2016, as well as the 1-1 draw at Scunthorpe earlier that season. Further back in time, Mr Bond was the man in the middle for our forgettable 3-0 loss at Oldham in March 2015. His first Dale game was the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy tie at home to Fleetwood in September 2012, which we won on penalties after a 2-2 draw. In total this term, Darren has refereed 19 games, showing 64 yellow cards and one red. Photo: Action Images Please report offensive, libellous or inappropriate posts by using the links provided.
