Refwatch: Dale v Millwall
Monday, 5th Feb 2018 18:06 by TVOS

Referee Tim Robinson will make his Crown Oil Arena debut at Tuesday’s FA Cup replay against Millwall.

The West Sussex official is in his sixth season on the league list and he has so far only refereed one previous Dale game.

That came at Southend earlier this season on an afternoon when he featured quite heavily in the action by awarding The Shrimpers a penalty, which Brendan Moore saved, and showing a red card to Ian Henderson.

Given the way the game went and Dale’s Roots Hall record in general, they were delighted to come away with a 0-0 draw.

Tim is one of the Select Group 2 referees who mainly officiate in the Championship and at high-profile games in League One and League Two.

Before Saturday, when he was due in the middle at Fulham v Nottingham Forest, Mr Robinson had refereed 32 matches this term, showing 101 yellow cards and nine red.

Last Tuesday he was in the middle for Luton v Wycombe at the top of League Two, while he has already refereed Millwall three times this season, most recently on Boxing Day at their 2-2 home draw with Wolves.
