TVOS: Dale v Millwall
Tuesday, 6th Feb 2018 10:00
Rochdale AFC’s matchday programme – The Voice of Spotland – is back for Tuesday’s Emirates FA Cup fourth round replay against Millwall.
We start with a traditional front cover image of the famous old FA Cup trophy that every team who enters the competition has dreams of lifting.
There is a look back at Dale’s only previous fourth round replay and four ‘Blast From The Past’ action photos featuring other ties at this stage of the competition.
In our visitors’ section, we take a comprehensive look at Millwall’s current form and their playing squad, while Dean Smith profiles their manager Neil Harris.
We also round-up all the previous meetings between Dale and The Lions, the majority of which took place in the 1960s.
John Rowe takes on a replay theme by discussing second chances, while Bray-based Dale fan Brian Quigley tells us all about one of his all-time favourite players who happened to appear 274 times for Millwall in the league.
Meanwhile, Scrutator gives his take on the furore surrounding Phil Neville’s appointment as the manager of the England women’s team.
Our regular half-time Dale Quiz is included again, as are action pictures from the home game against Oxford, while Travellers Tales reports on the FA Cup tie at Slough.
‘Through The Years’ remembers games from this week in the past, while ‘On This Day’ recalls a home game against Crewe in one of Dale’s three promotion seasons.
All this and much more will be in Tuesday’s The Voice of Spotland, on sale in the Club Shop and around the ground, priced £2.00.
