A routine win over Newport County was enough for Tottenham Hotspur to win a trip to Spotland.

Spurs ran out as 2-0 winners over Newport to set up their first ever match with Dale. An own goal from Newport's Butler and Lamela was enough to given them a win in a very one sided game at Wembley.

The game between Dale and Spurs will take place at Spotland on Sunday 18th February with a 4pm kick off. it will be broadcast all around the world thanks to the BBC. No ticketing details have been released at times of writing but it'll be all ticket and details should be announced in the very near future.

Dale have a great chance given the year doesn't end in 1. If that still applies.
