A day after having his contract at Peterborough cancelled (and we avoided the temptation of running a "Inman: I'm free" story), Aussie Bradden Inman becomes the latest Summer signing.

It's been a Summer and a half so far for signings, and Inman's signature is the latest as he put his name on a twelve month deal at Spotland arriving from Peterborough on a free transfer. He becomes Keith Hill's sixth signing of the Summer, and with the five contract renewals, it's clear we have options and cover all over the place.

It was a strange season for Inman last time out. At Christmas, he looked to be something of a passenger and many supporters would have been delighted to see his loan spell brought to a premature end. But he more than proved himself in the second half of the season finishing 2017-18 with eight goals to his name after becoming a vital cog in the Dale side that stayed up.
