Chris Dunphy retires

Chris Dunphy has announced he will be retiring as the end of the year as Chairman of the Football Club.
His Chairmanship has lasted close to twenty years now and it has been without doubt the most successful time in the club's history, with two promotions and the acquisition to the stadium amongst the many highlights.
Dunphy has proved himself to be an extremely safe pair of hands at a time where football clubs have undergone their largest period of uncertainty in history, and he will be missed by Dale supporters from the boardroom to the terraces where he has proved himself to be an approachable and friendly face, one which underpinned the #TeamRochdale ethics.
In announcing his retirement, Mr Dunphy has written a letter to Dale supporters that can be read here.
