The transfer window has opened and we've seen three departures from Spotland immediately with the transfers of Brendan Moore, Sam Hart and Andy Cannon.
The first transfer is for Andy Cannon who is off to Pompey for an undisclosed fee which has been rumoured to be in the region of an initial £150,000. This deal will come as no surprise to supporters after it was confirmed by Portsmouth manager Kenny Jackett last week.
With all the goalkeeper changes that we have seen has had another spanner chucked in the works with the departure of Brendan Moore. Moore has opted to return to his native USA to try and forge a career stateside. Moore has been in and out of the first team throughout the season and made his final appearance for the club in the 4-0 home defeat to Bradford City on Saturday.
The third departure is Sam Hart who has been recalled by parent club Blackburn Rovers. He was on a season long loan before returning to Ewood Park. Hart proved himself to be a popular player with supporters in his second loan spell, having spent time at Dale at the back end of last season.
