Dale linked with trio

Last week may well have been the week of departures but this could be the week of arrivals after Dale were linked with three players.

The first is centre half Shaun Donnellan. Donnellan was linked with a move to Dale by everyone's favourite Twitter tipster Pete O'Rourke who announced on Thursday that Donnellan would be coming to Dale following his mutually agreed release from Yeovil at the weekend.

The 22 year old started his career at West Brom, coming through the ranks at the Hawthorns. He didn't make a first team appearance for the Baggies, but had loan spells at Worcester, Walsall, Stevenage and Dagenham before signing an 18 month deal with the Glovers last January. Reaction from the Yeovil supporters on Twitter suggest that they're quite disappointed to be losing him.

In addition to that, he has been capped at both U21 and U19 level by the Republic of Ireland.

We were also linked in the Daily Mail this week with a couple of Man United youngsters.

One was centre half Regan Poole (pictured on left below). He started his career at Newport County before heading to Old Trafford . Unsurprisingly, he's not played for Man United's first team but he's been a regular in their reserves and he had a season long loan spell at Northampton last season. His player profile on the United website praises him for his character and suggests that he's equally comfortable in midfield.

The other was Ethan Hamilton. He is a left sided midfielder who can play at left back as well. He's had a call up for the Man United first team squad but hasn't come off the bench.

He has been a regular for Scotland at various age levels.
