Keith Hill sacked as Dale boss
Monday, 4th Mar 2019 17:43
After six years in charge, Keith Hill has been sacked as Dale manager following Saturday's 2-0 defeat at Luton Town.
With Dale dropping into the bottom four and being in a position that leaves us effectively six points from safety, a decision has been taken by the club to dismiss both Keith Hill and his assistant Chris Beech.
This brings to an end a six year reign at Spotland for Keith Hill in what was his second spell in charge at the club. Brian Barry-Murphy and Tony Ellis have been put in caretaker charge ahead of this weekend's game with Shrewsbury Town.
A full look back at his time in charge will appear soon.
