BBM new boss on 2 year deal
Wednesday, 3rd Apr 2019 08:37 by Col

It has been announced that Brian Barry-Murphy has been given the permanent reins to the manager's job on a two year contract after a successful spell as caretaker manager.

On early Wednesday morning, it was confirmed that BBM was to become the permanent successor to Keith Hill after a spell as caretaker manager which has seen Dale pick up eight points from four games.

He has been first team coach at Dale since Keith Hill returned to the club in 2013, whilst he retained his playing terms, and was often seen on the touchline as the man that Keith Hill would seek for advice during games rather than his assistant Chris Beech.

BBM's first match in permanent charge will be against Sunderland on Saturday. The game is all ticket with tickets remaining on sale until 5pm on Friday.
