TVOS: Dale v Lincoln
Tuesday, 17th Sep 2019 09:00

Rochdale AFC’s matchday programme — The Voice of Spotland — is back for Tuesday’s League One fixture against Lincoln City.

The programme is once again a 76-page issue this season, containing plenty of reading to keep fans entertained and informed before, during and after the match.

Our new-look programme starts with a front cover image of young right-back Luke Matheson, who made his first league start for the club earlier this season.

Manager Brian Barry-Murphy reflects on Saturday’s heavy loss at Peterborough, but explains how keen his players are to bounce back in this game against The Red Imps.

After that the programme is packed with new features, including:

MY TEAM-MATES — Aaron Wilbraham spills the beans on his pals in the Dale squad

THINK OF A NUMBER — looking at facts, figures and connections between Dale and Lincoln City

COLOURFUL MEMORIES — recalling three previous games against The Red Imps from the perspective of the kits worn

ROOM 101 — Eoghan O’Connell reveals the things that annoy him

BACK OF THE NET — a whole-season article focusing on the exploits of Dale’s top 25 goalscorers of all-time, this time with Bob Mountford

We have a lengthy new-look visitors’ section, as well as a Traveller’s Tales on the opening day trip to Tranmere.

Our regular historical pages — ‘On This Day’ and ‘Through The Years’ — have had a makeover and an extension that will help readers to jog their Dale memory banks, while regular contributors Scrutator, Brian Quigley, Steven Rittey and John Rowe are back with their thought-provoking and informative columns.

Meanwhile, action photos appear from the games against Shrewsbury and Sunderland.

All this and much, much more will be in Tuesday’s The Voice of Spotland, on sale in the Club Shop and around the ground, priced £3.00.
