Refwatch: Dale v Fleetwood Town
Monday, 23rd Dec 2019 19:25 by TVOS

The familiar figure of Andy Haines will referee Dale’s Boxing Day home clash against Fleetwood Town.

This is a change from the original appointment, who was first season referee, James Oldham from Derbyshire.

Mr Haines will be taking take charge of his 31st Dale match and the 29th at the Crown Oil Arena/Spotland, which we are confident is a record for the club by a considerable distance.

We last saw Andy in August when he refereed Dale’s 5-2 home win over Bolton in the Carabao Cup.

His most recent league fixture involving Dale was the 1-0 home defeat of Wycombe on Good Friday which set us on the way to clinching our League One survival later that weekend.

Haines’ most notable Dale game came on 17th April 2010 when we clinched promotion from League Two with a 1-0 victory over Northampton.
