The first round of the Carabao Cup has just been drawn with Dale drawn at home to Huddersfield Town.

The tie is due to be played the weekend of 5th September, one week before the League One fixtures start but this is subject to change due to it being an international weekend.

One of our best memories in recent years came in last years Carabao Cup as Dale took Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's Manchester United side to penalties at Old Trafford thanks to 16 year old Luke Matheson's first goal in professional football.
