The transfer window has finally slammed shut after a summer like no other.

A late finish to the season saw clubs in England able to complete business up until the middle of October is a strange time for recruitment teams up and down the country.

As well as the logistical differences, the ongoing economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has has had a huge say in how much business clubs can do.

That means that teams in the EFL have had to cut their cloth according.
