Dale to kick off 21/22 with trip to Harrogate
Thursday, 24th Jun 2021 09:24 by AtThePeake

Rochdale's return to League Two football will start with a new ground for the club in the shape of Harrogate's Wetherby Road.

And remarkably, the campaign will end in the same place as our last League Two campaign back in 2013/2014, with a trip to Newport County (pink pants optional).

Derby day fixtures against Oldham will come on September 25th at Spotland and at Boundary Park on Saturday 29th January while our first ever fixture against another local outfit Salford City will take place on Tuesday 19th October.

That game will take place at the Peninsula Stadium, before the reverse on March 15th, also a night game.

Slightly less packed than usual, the festive period sees a Boxing Day trip to Carlisle United followed by home fixtures against Port Vale (Wednesday 29th December) and Mansfield Town (New Year's Day).

The lads will have some serious travelling to do in the latter stages of the season with the last six away games of the season being at Sutton, Leyton Orient, Crawley Town, Stevenage, Exeter City and Newport County.
