Liam Kelly Becomes Dale's 10th Summer Signing

Rochdale made their 10th signing of the summer in the form of Liam Kelly.

Well this isn't one I expected!

Liam Kelly became Robbie Stockdale's 10th signing after signing a two-year contract following his departure from Dutch side Feyenoord. That's not a sentence I ever expected I'd write!

The 25-year-old midfielder started his career at Championship side Reading where he went on to make 94 appearances, scoring 9 goals.

He left Reading in 2019 to link-up with his former boss, legendary Manchester United and Holland centre back Jaap Stam at Eredivise side Feyenoord but he only made 2 appearances, one of which was in the Europa League.

He joined Oxford United on-loan in January 2020 and then again at the start of last season and played 39 games in all competitions, scoring once, at home to Newcastle United in the FA Cup.

He's also represented Ireland at Under 19 and Under 21 level.
