Refwatch: Swindon Town v Rochdale Friday, 15th Oct 2021 12:00 by TVOS Manchester referee Simon Mather will take charge of Dale’s game at Swindon on Saturday. Mather was promoted to the National List this season and has so far been limited to games in League Two and the EFL Trophy at a wide range of geographical locations. His first EFL appointment was Northampton v Port Vale in August and he has since travelled from Farnworth to Leyton Orient, Barrow, Sutton and Hartlepool, amongst others. His seven games so far have seen 33 yellow cards and four red cards, but there have also been 25 goals in entertaining encounters. Mr Mather ended last season refereeing the National League play-off final between Hartlepool and Torquay at Ashton Gate, a month after he had taken charge of what turned into a title decider between Sutton and Hartlepool. Simon also had an EFL trial match in March at Harrogate v Colchester. Photo: Action Images Please report offensive, libellous or inappropriate posts by using the links provided.
