Dale made their second signing of the summer with the addition of a former loannee in Ethan Ebanks-Landell.

The 29-year-old was released by Shrewsbury at the end of last season and was a name instantly on the lips of Dale fans as a potential signing and now he's signed a two-year deal at Spotland.

Ethan spent most of his career at Wolves, where he played 42 games, scoring 5 goals. There were plenty of loan spells away from Molyneux though at the likes of Bury, Sheffield United, Milton Keynes and of course Rochdale where he played 16 games, scoring twice.

Upon leaving Wolves in 2019, he joined Shrewsbury Town and went on to play 102 games, scoring twice.
