A summer of shapeshifting is in full swing as the latest transfer news is that Irish attacking midfielder Conor Grant has left to join Milton Keynes for an undisclosed fee.

The 20-year-old only joined Rochdale in February 2021 when Brian Barry-Murphy brought him in from Sheffield Wednesday. He made an impression on Dale fans with glimpses of wonderful ability in a struggling side and many thought he would go onto be Dale's one-to-watch last season. Unfortunately he struggled to fit into Robbie Stockdale's system until the second half of the season and it was then he began to show more of what many fans expected.

He went on to play 58 games for Dale scoring 5 times.
