The third round of the FA Trophy sees Rochdale take on Gateshead at Spotland.

Rochdale have been drawn at home to Gateshead, arguably one of the tougher draws we could have got. The game is scheduled to be played on Saturday 9th December.

Dale have played Gateshead at home already this season in the league, in a game that saw McNulty's men throw away two points. Jez Uchegbulam opened the scoring with a goal that will surely be a goal of the season contender. Dale's all-time leading goalscorer Ian Henderson added a second goal half way through the first half. Dale sat back then to allow for a rather predictable 2-2 draw.
