After the news that Cian Hayes was back on loan until the end of the season, Dale made two more loan signings.

Manchester United youngsters Sam Murray and Sam Mather signed on loan for the remainder of the season in a new type of loan initiative which will see them used by Dale when possible but Manchester United can also use them when they require.

Sam Murray is a left back by trade who likes to get forward and he's been a regular feature in United's U21 side.

Sam Mather is an attacking midfielder who can play on either wing as well and scored 4 goals from the left wing on Saturday against Norwich U21's including a stunning free-kick and some wonderful finishes.
