Altrincham 1 v 2 Rochdale Friday, 18th April 2025 Kick-off 15:00 |
![]() Thursday, 17th Apr 2025 13:17 by TVOS Dale’s third meeting with Altrincham in the space of seven weeks on Good Friday will be refereed by NEIL HAIR. The Peterborough-based official is in his seventh season on the National List and while he regularly referees in League One and League Two, Friday will be his third National League appointment of the season. Dale have been refereed by Mr Hair on four previous occasions. Just before Christmas 2018, he was in the middle for a 2-1 win at Southend, which came courtesy of a late Callum Camps’ goal. We next saw him at Doncaster in February 2020, where Ollie Rathbone scored a late equaliser in a 1-1 draw, just a month before all football stopped due to the coronavirus outbreak. In February 2022, he made his Spotland debut when refereeing Dale’s 3-3 draw versus Harrogate and 12 months later Neil was back at Spotland for a 1-1 draw with Northampton Town. Friday will be Mr Hair’s 13th game of this season, the low number coming about after a spell injured from October to March. He has shown 53 yellow cards and four red cards in the previous 12 matches, two of the reds coming in his most recent outing at Doncaster v AFC Wimbledon last Saturday.
