While squad recruitment continues for Jim McNulty, we've also now seen some staff changes as well.

Jim McNulty's right hand man Kevin Gibbins has left Spotland to join Brian Barry-Murphy's coaching staff at Cardiff City. Gibbins has been assistant to McNulty the whole time Jim's been at the helm and so we wish him all the best.

Gibbins has however, been quickly replaced, by former Rochdale loannee Jason Taylor.

Taylor joins as assistant head coach to Jim McNulty and is of course no stranger to Dale fans who will fondly remember the loan spell the midfielder had in 2009, helping Rochdale seal promotion to League One.
