Dale have added another striker to their ranks with the loan signing of Levi Amantchi until January.

The news comes a day after it was announced that Devante Rodney had extended his contract to stay at Rochdale so Dale now have a good amount of forward options now with the addition of Amantchi.

The 24-year-striker joins on loan from League Two Walsall who he only joined back on deadline in January and he went on to play 18 times for the Saddlers, scoring 3 times.

He started his career at Chesterfield btu struggled to settle anywhere, having spells at Mickleover, Blyth, Workington, Darlington, Redditch, Potters Bar, Braintree, Brackley, Maidstone and Bromley before ending up at Rochdale.

His spell at Maidstone was an impressive one as he bagged 13 goals in 20 games but it was brief as he moved up from the National League South to join Bromley in the National League as they won promotion to the EFL.
