With a quiet day hoped for and expected on deadline day, one Dale youngster has joined League One Stockport County on loan.

Dale youngster Corey Edwards joins Stockport County on loan until January, with him taking a spot in their Under 21's side.

The 18-year-old midfielder has impressed in his first team opportunities for Dale and this feels like a bit of an audition before a permanent move materialises. He's made 8 appearances for the Dale first team.
