Dale midfielder Liam Humbles has been allowed to leave on loan for the remainder of the season, joining fellow National League side Altrincham.

The 22-year-old American born midfielder has barely featured for Dale this season, managing just a few minutes in the National League and four appearances in the National League Cup.

It's hard to tell whether this is purely down to the form of Gilmour and East with Pettit as cover or whether McNulty doesn't seem to rate him but there was a bit of a buzz when Humbles joined in the summer so it does seem a shame we've not seen more of him.
