Rochdale Released List Confirmed Monday, 18th May 2026 16:51 by Chaff Rochdale AFC have confirmed their retained and released list following the end of the 2025/26 campaign, with a number of familiar faces now set to depart Spotland following the clubs promotion to League Two. The Dale have opened talks with four out-of-contract players as they look to shape the squad for next season. Corey Edwards, Kyron Gordon, Ian Henderson and Tyler Smith have all been offered the chance to remain at the club, with negotiations ongoing. The inclusion of Ian Henderson will no doubt please many supporters, with the veteran striker continuing to prove his value both on and off the pitch at the age of 41 years young. A larger group of players will leave the club this summer following the expiry of their contracts. Tarryn Allarakhia, Aidan Barlow, Jake Burger, Manny Duku, Anthony Gomez-Mancini, Bryce Hosannah, Connor McBride, Tom Myles, Joe Pritchard and David Tutonda have all been released. There are unlikely to be too many surprises among the departures, although some supporters may feel players such as Joe Pritchard and Aidan Barlow may have been offered a new deal. In a season unlike any other, with a record number of points and a Wembley win, we'd like to say a massive thank you to every player departing the club, including loan players Oliver Whatmuff, Archie Baptiste, John-Kymani Gordon and Callum Perry who return to their parent clubs following the conclusion of their loan spells at Spotland.
