Dale have now confirmed that Tyler Smith has left the club following the expiry of his contract.

The Dale forward was offered a new deal in Jim McNulty's retained list but it's unclear as to whether that changed given McNulty's departure to Stockport and Ian Watson taking over.

Smith scored 8 times in 27 games last season including the goal that got us back in the game at Wembley in the playoff final.
