In next season’s match programme, the editor is keen to run a feature where he profiles either a Dale fan who lives away from the town (the further away, the more interesting, I suppose), or people who have moved into the Rochdale area and have become Dale fans since.

The article will consist of an interview with the said fan, asking about how they manage to follow Dale from afar, how many games they see in a season, what their friends, neighbours and work colleagues think of them following Dale, and so on.

For the ‘Dale Converts’, we will look at where they originally came from, how they ended up in the town, did they have a previous team etc. The list of questions will be confirmed in the coming weeks.

Obviously we need about 25 of these to last us the whole season and we are keen to get a head start on them once the season has finished.
