Refwatch: Bolton v Dale
Thursday, 17th Oct 2019 10:54 by TVOS

Antony Coggins will referee Dale for only the second time when we make the short journey to Bolton on Saturday.

The Oxfordshire official is in his third season on the referees’ list and his only previous Dale appointment was back in April 2018.

On that afternoon Mr Coggins was the man in the middle at Peterborough, where Ian Henderson’s early goal was enough to give Dale a 1-0 win, although Hendo later blotted his copybook with an unnecessary red card after launching himself at a Posh player.

Antony has officiated in League One and League Two throughout his time on the National List, with occasional ties in the three cup competitions thrown into the mix.

This season has seen him referee nine games, in which he has shown 29 yellow cards.

His most recent appointment was Newport v Carlisle in League Two a couple of Saturdays ago.
