Chinese takeaways that advertise Fish and Chips are competent at neither.

when did it become acceptable to play music on your phone through a speaker instead of your headphones whilst on public transport?

Why stop now, just when I'm hating it

Similarly, people who think holding a phone at right angles to their face, while on speakerphone is the way a phone is used.

Restaurant owners: There is no need to conjure up an air of mystery with your menus by using a vague plural. We all know that "scallops" means just two of the blighters, unless the diner has found a four-leaved clover that very day

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

I'd like to see the back of mobile phones. People managed fine without them OK. I resisted for many years but Iwas held up in a terrible crash in the M4 and took many hours to get home, so my wife insisted. I still only have a little ten quid jobby for emergencies.

I discovered mild at the Great British Beer festival the other week. It was recommended by another poster on here. I found it suprisingly tasty.

You cant beat a nice Mosaic or Citra hop. Mmmmmmm

The Great Dorset Steam Fair may well be a steam fair held in Dorset but it is a very long way from being great. As it is cursed by just about everyone in a 50 mile radius, I suggest it should be renamed.

Mind you, the residents of Dorset are still in awe of such modern technology.

I've noticed that most cars seem to have faulty indicators...….. either that or no ******* ever uses them anymore!

They do not use them in Cyprus in fact I'm not sure they are fitted as standard over here more like an optional extra.

Picture menus outside restaurants = rot.

I know what a kebab looks like.

Menus with pictures of food is so wrong and should probably be restricted to Benidorm.

My only exception is Wimpy Bars from the 1970s.

It shouldn't really be such a surprise, when you get to the front of the queue at the supermarket and they ask you to pay.

assuming that you're in Cyprus as opposed to 'North Cyprus' - spend a lot of time there as my wife is Turkish Cypriot and can confirm they don't use their indicators north of the border either!

Can we not knock it?

I find it's women that find this most confusing, there is always a few moments before they realise they don't have a bloke there to pay and then fumble about in their bag irritated.

Blokes tend to have cash or card ready in hand.
