He may have been from Southampton and played well for us, but that doesn’t make him a Saints Legend. I met him and had a good chat and he seemed a nice guy, but he was a Spurs fan through and through.
A very good player for us, but clearly a Tottenham legend and I’d say not really in the Pantheon of Saints….
All the same, RIP. |

What an absolute cvnt. Saints 2 Tottenham 6. Need I say more?
I spent some time with the News International legal team when he was up before the beak; let’s just say he’s an interesting “character”…

On the basis that we used the Danish National shirts as our kit back in the 90s I guess I should plump for them.
I do have a certain sympathy for the Jockanese given that Saints have had some good Scottish players in the past, but any country that has a party that might allow abortion on the basis of sex can fvck right off. |

How many really top ex players make is as a good managers though? Plus that mumbling scouse accent just smacks of low wattage apathy (Rooney being a case in point).
Carrick seems down to earth and reasonable but has he been anything more than 'reasonable' as a manager?
Conversely Rodgers has a had a lot of success but seems an awful person.
Mark Robins - very solid, but at what cost?

If that absolute cvnt comes back I am done.
I ‘ve been a season ticket holder (sometimes 2 at a time ) for decades (despite a 250 mile return trip), upwards of a thousand games attended - sometimes in serious chance of real harm to myself (mainly in the 80s), promoted the club and the county against all kinds of plastic wally supporters all over the place but I will NOT have anything to do with SFC if that utter narcissistic bell end comes back. |
