A Christmas Message From The Ugly Inside
A quick message to all our members.
A very Merry Xmas to everyone that reads the Ugly Inside, this year has seen a big cjange to the site, including a move to a new network and in the main its been a positive reaction to the new site.
However its not been without its teething problems and in some ways we have become a victim of our own success as viewing figures and posts on the message board increased drastically.
Of course when you get long standing members augumented with new posters there can be a clash and sometimes this happens, but I think that all members both old and new need to sit back and enjoy the site rather than getting uptight about others, the reason that I started the Ugy Inside along with Clive Foley nearly 23 years ago was to give all supporters a chance to air their views, whatever those views maybe and for me the reason that I have continued to run this site almost a quarter of a century later is that I want to read other peoples opinions, if i disagree I want to try and change their view and if they disagree with me, I want them to try and change mine, I have never thought that my opnion is right, merely that its my opinion. If I change one persons viewpoint and that makes them more open to respecting others, then I have acheived something on this site.
One thing it will never be is a one dimensional site where all opinions must reflect those of the web master, variety is the spice of life.
So once again i thank everyone who posts on the message board or merely just reads the site, keep coming back and telling the world what you think and remember just because someone disagrees with you, dont walk away, try and change their mind.
Happy Xmas to all of you.
