Refwatch Preview: Burton (h)
Andy Haines will draw level with former Spotland stalwart Colin Webster when he takes charge of Dale’s game with Burton on Saturday.
This will be his 15th visit since he joined the league list in 2007 and his fourth in the last 13 months.
Indeed, he could easily pass Webster’s Spotland appearance record as the County Durham whistler is no longer on the league list having retired in May.
Mr Haines was here in pre-season for the friendly match against Hull, while his last senior game at Spotland was the JPT tie against Preston ten months ago.
Andy was also the referee for the memorable promotion-clinching game against Northampton in April 2010, as well as last season’s home fixture game with Huddersfield.
Andy’s full list of Dale games is:
22 Sep 07 Macclesfield (h), D 1-1
16 Jan 08 Chesterfield (a), W 4-3
1 Apr 08 Bradford (h), W 2-1

Southampton At Middlesbrough The VerdictThere is absolutely no way to dress this up other than this was a game that for a long period we controlled and then we collapsed into a disorganised rabble, to throw the game away in 15 second half minutes.
Southampton At Middlesbrough The PreviewSaints have taken just 3 points from their last 5 games in the Championship, Boro themselves are struggling and are on a poor run that has seen them drop out of the automatic promotions spots. Can Tonda turn the tide for Southampton.
Southampton V Millwall The VerdictTonda Eckert rang the changes for this game, but it made little difference as the key 3 man central defence remained unchanged, in the end a draw was a fair result, but of not much help for Saints.

Southampton V Millwall The PreviewSaints start the year with a home game against the team who inflicted the first defeat of Tonda Eckert's tenure as manager, we need to show that we have learned the lessons from that game and others.
Southampton Set to Take Keeper On Loan Earlier this season it was reported that Saints were looking at Bayern Munich keeper Daniel Peretz, currently on loan at HSV Hamburg. Now these rumours are re surfacing, but is Perez really an upgrade on Gavin Bazunu.
