Norrkopping UEFA CUP 1982
A picture gallery from the trip to Norrkopping in Sweden in 1982.
When Saints travelled to Sweden in the UEFA Cup in 1982 the distance and expense of travelling to Sweden in those days of pre budget airlines and cheap travel, meant that very few Saints fans made the trip, however one coach party set out on early Monday morning, got the ferry from Sheerness to Holland, drove across Holland and Germany to get another boat to Sweden to arrive in the town of Norrkoping at 2am on the morning of the game, journey of neary two days in a coach without a toilet or video, here are some of the pics.

Southampton V Leicester City The VerdictIt was 4 in a row for Tonda Eckert & his Saints side, another polished performance that pushed us up to 11th but more importantly to the fringes of the play off spots, posing the question how a team and it's players who were so poor just 3 weeks or so ago can be so different now.
Southampton V Leicester City The PreviewSaints try to make it 4 straight league games when they take on Leicester at St Mary's, the Foxes themselves are unbeaten in 3 after drawing 1 and then winning their last 2 outings, does something have to give or will it end up all square.
