Loads Of Tickets Left For Celtic Game
Saints are appealing for fans to book early to avoid a late rush on Friday night
The Claus Lundekvam testimonial match against Celtic is starting to sell fast, however with just over a day to go only 15,000 seats have been sold including 2,500 directly at Celtic themselves.
But Saints are bracing themselves for a last minute rush and all the attendant problems that go with it, in truth Saints supporters previously disalusioned after the events of recent months have held back from buying tickets, but as the game has approached a combination of renewed optimism, along with the feeling that Claus does deserve to be honoured, means that a big walk up on the day can be expected.
With that in mind the Club are asking fans to try and pop down and get their tickets before the last few hours before the game, even if it means Friday afternoon, it will make it easier for fans who will be able to use the car park and not face long queues and easier for the Club as it will lessen a last minute rush.
This site has always maintained that Claus Lundekvam is possibly the last of the Saints legends and is deserving of this benefit match, as such it urges all Saints supporters to turn up in force and also to remember the match is about honouring Claus Lundekvam and not abusing Rupert Lowe.
