Bristol City Ticket Information

Bristol City and Swansea City have today issued the following joint statement with regards to September's Coca-Cola League One fixture between the two clubs.

It has been agreed by both clubs, in conjunction with the Avon & Somerset and South Wales Police, that visiting supporters must travel to the fixture on official club coaches - there will be no independent travel.

Bristol City have been handed an initial allocation of 1,161 tickets for the game at the New Stadium, which is all-ticket for visiting fans. Tickets will be placed on sale from 9am tomorrow (Tuesday) morning.

Prices are: Adults - £13, Over-65s/Students - £10, Under-16s - £7. Disabled supporters will be charged £10, with carers free. Coach tickets costs £14 for members and £16 for non-members.

Tickets for Away Day Club members will be held until Tuesday, August 30th. Season tickets holders also have until August 30th to purchase one ticket on production of Voucher C from the rear of their books. Any remaining tickets will go on general sale from Wednesday, August 31st at 9am.

Fans must purchase match and travel tickets at the same time, however, the match tickets will only be handed over en route to Swansea.

Supporters are being advised to arrive at Ashton Gate for 11.30am to board their coach. Fans should also note that once coaches have left Ashton Gate there will be no stops en route to the ground.

On arrival at Swansea, supporters will then be expected to enter the ground immediately. The same procedure will apply back to Ashton Gate.

City's operations manager Keith Draisey told bcfc.co.uk: "While the club realises this decision will inconvenience some supporters, we do support the stance taken."

Avon and Somerset Police chief Inspector Garry King says: "This is a tried and tested way of reducing any risk of disorder before, en route and after the match to make it as safe and enjoyable as possible for genuine supporters.

"As well as ensuring the convoy of coaches gets on its journey from Ashton Gate to the M4, we will also have officers in Swansea to spot any known troublemakers.

"Our message to Bristol City fans could not be simpler - if you want to go to the match you will have to travel on one of the designated coaches."

The arrangement will be recipricated for Swansea City supporters travelling to the return League One fixture on Saturday, January 28th.
