Swans Aim To Grab Chelsea Striker
Swansea City are being linked with a move for 19 year old striker/winger Scott Sinclair from Chelsea
As Roberto looks to add new faces to the squad then the link with a player highly rated by the Stamford Bridge club is a good one for the Swans.
We already know about loan targets Adam Hammill and Febian Brandy but today's report in the News of the World suggests that Sinclair is the next target for Roberto to bring to the Liberty on a season long loan.
The report says that Roberto has already been in touch with the European runners up about the loan but he is likely to face competition from other Championship clubs for the player who was born in Bath.
Sinclair has already spent time on loan at other clubs at this level - at QPR, Charlton and Crystal Palace last season and Plymouth the season before. He has also played for Chelsea's first team - 10 appearances for them have yielded one league cup goal in the process.
It has been reported that Chelsea would like to see the player loaned out for a complete season next term which would bring the Swans into contention as they look to complete the final pieces in their championship jigsaw squad.
Sinclair would arrive with a good pedigree and a strong reputation and we all know Roberto's record at getting a little bit more from players that he works with. This would be a good signing if we could pull it off for sure.
Go get him Roberto
