Teatime Television Viewing - Plymouth Preview

The Swans are the television TV treat for tomorrow as they head to Plymouth to take on Argyle in front of the cameras

It's a late kick off for the Swans at Home Park as they get the Sky Sports billing for the first time this season with the 5.20pm kick off knowing as well that a victory should propel them into the top half of the table for the first time this season.

After the excitement of last week's victory over Nottingham Forest at the Liberty, the Swans will be looking to transfer their home form to the road and rediscover some of the form that brought them so many victories on the road en route to the League One title last season.

The Swans won a record number of times on their travels last term around and after the disappointment of the opening day at Charlton, Roberto will be keen to put things right tomorrow.

Plymouth for their part are being hotly tipped to struggle this season with many media outlets stating that they are heading for League One and their early season form has done nothing to suggest that those predictions are wrong.  And even their fans are pessimistic with some dreading the visit of the Swans believing that they may not be able to cope with the Swans passing game.

The questions are yet again there over the team selection for tomorrow as to whether Roberto will change things with both Angel Rangel and Gorka Pintado chomping at the bit for their first start of the season.    Rangel looks almost certain to make the start ahead of the Welsh substitute Matty Collins but the hot tip is that Scotland will hold his place ahead of Pintado although the latter's goal last week will have done him no harm.

The starting line up thus could look like this

 Dorus

Rangel     Monk     Williams     Painter

Britton     Bodde     Pratley

Butler     Scotland     Gower

Plymouth defender David McNamee has suffered no reaction to his hamstring injury and is in contention.

Goalkeeper Romain Larrieu has a slight groin strain but should be fit.

And so the Swans Championship Train rolls into the South West to take on Argyle and I firmly think we will come away with the three points under our belt - quite by what scoreline I don't know but let's take an optimistic pill and go 3-0.    May as well eh?
