Tudur Jones Extends Swindon Loan
Swansea City's out of favour midfielder Owain Tudur Jones has extended his loan spell at Swindon until the end of the season
Making six appearances for the Robins since his move down the M4, the Welsh internationals future at the Liberty Stadium is still uncertain after falling down the pecking order. Tudur Jones joined the League One club on an initial one months loan but has taken some time to settle at the County Ground.
Despite this the 24 year old has impressed Swindon boss Danny Wilson who is more than happy with his loan acquisition as he told the Western Daily Press, he said “Owain has improved with every game and I have been more than happy with him. He is a quality footballer who offers us a great deal in that midfield area."
Desperate for first team action the former Bangor City player is firmly relishing the chance to battle the Wiltshire club out of the relegation fight , he said “I want to be at Swindon playing games rather than returning to Swansea to sit in the stands. I am geared up for the remaining five games of the season, which are vital to this club. I'm looking forward to helping Swindon climb away from relegation trouble and relishing the challenges we face as a team over the next few weeks."
