Trundle Baffled By Pratley Ommission
Lee Trundle is amazed that Darren Pratley is not included in the best 50 players in the league
Most Swansea City fans would have raised at least one eyebrow when looking through the list to see that one of the leading candidates for player of the year at the club was not in there.
Ashley Williams and Leon Britton both made the list but it is the ommission of Pratley that surprised Trundle who told Wales on Sunday “If you look at the names in the top 50 and compare it to the way Darren’s played this season, you’ve got to say he should be definitely in there
“It’s strange because you don’t get a big club like Nottingham Forest come in prepared to pay £2m for you if you’re not doing the business.
“So why he’s not been recognised I don’t know – he’s been one of our best players this season.
“But a lot of the success we’ve had this season has gone unnoticed until only recently and perhaps it’s just a case of some of the players here being overlooked.
“He’s been brilliant all year and he doesn’t need anyone telling him that because he will know he’s done well.”
