Paulo - We Can Win Them All
Paulo Sousa thinks that his Swansea team can win all their four remaining league games
Monday's 3-0 win for Swansea City over Scunthorpe at the Liberty relieved slightly the play off nerves and Sousa now believes that - after their first win in seven - they are back on track and ready to cement that end of season place.
He told the Evening Post "We are capable of winning the four games we have left
"I think what we have done until now this season proves we are capable of doing that.
"I don't know what we will need to get into the play-offs. I don't think about that.
"We want to keep our position in the table and to be certain of that we need to win all our games. If we win against Bristol City on Saturday, we will not drop out of the play-off places.
"As we have always done, our aim is to try to be competitive in every game we play and to win every game.
"I have said from the start I want that winning mentality and it is the same now.
"With all respect to our opponents, we should not think about them. We will only try to achieve a high level of performance ourselves.
"Cardiff was a big disappointment because we deserved to win the game and it's hard to get over these things," Sousa added.
"But we have a lot of confidence in our talent, our quality and our spirit. I would like to say again that I am very proud of my players — it's a big pleasure for me to work with them.
"This win was the best way to come back after Cardiff.
"The intensity was great and we showed good quality in our decisions.
"I was very pleased with what I saw. We created 17 chances — 10 of them clear — but we did not do anything differently. When we have fresh minds and fresh legs, we can do this."
