Brendan's Pride At Come From Behind Win
Brendan Rodgers spoke of his pride at his side coming from behind to win at Ipswich
The Swansea manager told Sky Sports after the game "It was a big win for us, I felt it was always going to be a really difficult game which it proved to be
"Again I am very proud of the players to come back from being behind and play so well was very pleasing.
"I have seen the replay of the penalty appeal and it’s one of those that if you are at home you are disappointed that you don’t get it, Mark was coming across I don’t think there was a lot of contact but he has touched him there was contact. Maybe if the player has stayed on his feet he could have gone through and have a shot but I guess from Roy’s perspective at home he will be disappointed it wasn’t given.
"I said to Beatts that we needed something different in the game and we were on the verge of making the change and of course he got the goal which can up your confidence – his second goal was magnificent.
"We are not getting carried away – the mark of our performances are the mark of how hard the players have been working they work very hard every day and this is the reward we are getting. I always feel that if we are in or around the top 6 come February then we will see where we’re at.
"This would have been a game we could have lost a while ago but to get the result today was a terrific one."
