Monk - Individual Mistakes Saw Us Punished
Garry Monk was in no doubt that some individual lessons cost the Swans dear at Ewood Park
Monk told the club's official website after the game
"It was a strange game because we played pretty well, controlled it and created chances," said Monk.
"But some individual mistakes from us saw us get punished.
"Everything was right for us to get a result - I don't think they came out at us. They were apprehensive and we could sense that.
"But it shows that in this league you get punished for even the smallest of mistakes - they were poor goals to concede.
"It shows his quality of finishing. I thought we handled him well in open play, but he took the chances that came his way.
"It's a cruel lesson for us. But we have guys that want to learn and you will see a reaction from us next week against Fulham."
