Hey Joe
Another member of the Dale squad has signed up for next season with the news that Joe Rafferty has signed a new contract to stay at the club.
Former Liverpool reserves captain Rafferty has signed a twelve month deal keeping him at Spotland until next Summer. The nineteen year old made twenty one starts for the first team last season, with an unbroken spell of five games at the end.
It might have worked out so differently, with Rafferty struggling to even make it into the first team under Keith Hill but his half time introduction away at Exeter coincided with a resurgence in form that ultimately led to Dale finishing in the top half of the table, with Rafferty a regular in the side during that time.
